Andy Greenberg, Founder and EVP Business Development
Andy co-founded FitLinxx in 1993 and is responsible for business development, including expanding penetration in new market segments. Andy’s roles at FitLinxx have included product development and market research; creation of the sales model to bring a new technology product to the fitness industry; opening the UK office to expand the company’s reach into the UK; and the development and management of the sales organization. Prior to joining FitLinxx, Andy worked for Lutron Electronics, the leading provider of lighting controls in the electrical industry. While at Lutron, Andy performed roles as project manager and sales manager, including managing 12 independent rep agencies. Andy holds a B.A. in Physics from Cornell University.
David Hoinville, Vice President of North American Sales
David joined FitLinxx in 1997 as a Regional Sales Manager. He was promoted to Area Director of Sales and now manages the Regional Sales Managers in North America. Prior to joining FitLinxx, David worked with Wellbridge, serving as general manager for five years in two of their high service health clubs in Atlanta. He received a B.S. from University of Manchester in England, a B.A. from West Virginia University, and a M.S. in Recreation Management from Loughborough University in England.
John D. McCarthy, Chief Financial Officer
John joined FitLinxx in 2006 with over 15 years experience in financial management and business development with technology and service companies. He most recently held senior positions, including acting as CFO and SVP Sales & Corporate Development with Globix Corporation, a leading web hosting and Managed Services Provider with operations in the US and Europe. Prior to Globix he held financial and general management positions with Young & Rubicam where he was VP/Director of Business Affairs, United Technologies, where he was a Controller and LC39 Venture Group, where he was VP Finance. He received an MBA degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Masters degree in International Studies from Wharton's Lauder Institute. He received a BA in History and Asian Studies from Connecticut College and studied Chinese at Beijing University where he was a member of the school's varsity basketball team.
Dave Monahan, EVP Markets, Channels and Partners
Dave recently joined FitLinxx from Microsoft Corporation. At Microsoft, Dave was General Manager of Small and Mid-market business in the PA, DE and NJ markets. Dave has expertise in market research, market segmentation and growing a business through partnerships. Dave is responsible for developing channel & marketing programs that extend existing markets and develop new markets for FitLinxx. Prior to joining Microsoft, Dave was a marketing manager for SkyTel Inc., Manager of Planning and Analysis for Phillips Int’l. and a Project Engineer for Northrup Grumman Inc. Dave has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA in International Business from Loyola College.
Stacey Nevara, Vice President of Program Management
Stacey joined FitLinxx in 1997, serving as one of the original Program Managers in the company. In this role she was responsible for national account management as well as the growth and development of the department. Stacey then became the Regional Manager for the Midwest region with responsibility for new business. She now manages the Program Management team of wellness specialists that provides training, implementation and consultative support to FitLinxx's customer base. Prior to joining FitLinxx Stacey had 10 years of facility operations and management experience in the fitness industry both in cardiac rehabilitation as well as directing the fitness operations at Chicago's East Bank Club, one of the largest and most prominent health clubs in the world.
She earned a BS in Exercise Physiology and Cardiac Rehabilitation from Central Michigan University and holds certifications from the American College of Sports Medicine, the National Strength and Conditioning Association and the American Council on Exercise.
Simon Wright, Vice President, Strategic Business Development
Simon joined FitLinxx in 1998 to set up the European Office. He now has corporate responsibility for strategic business development, which included maintaining the strong relationships with partner organizations and the continued expansion of the FitLinxx business around the world. Prior to joining FitLinxx, Simon worked with Forza UK, the UK and then European distributor for Cybex fitness equipment. Prior to that, Simon worked in software and systems design and implementation most notably with Andersen Consulting. Simon has a BA in Accounting and Financial Analysis from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne.
